Hello, friends! It has been a hot minute since I’ve had the chance to talk to you all. I’ve been busy preparing to go back to law school for my second year!! I can’t believe it. By Christmas, I’ll be halfway done with law school and almost nearly done with school permanently… or so it seems. We’ll see. In the spirit of getting ready to head back to campus, I thought I would share my at-home study space with you all. I know that, for many, going back to school looks different than it has in previous years. Many more of us are staying home and having to adjust to a new normal in a world battling with COVID-19. I just want you to know that my heart is with you all – this season of history is tough but we will get through it together!

Because so many of us are working from home, it’s as important as ever to have a workspace that you really love at home. Create somewhere that feels comfortable for you! I don’t know about you, but working in a space that is cramped, unorganized, and messy is just not my jam. That’s why I love these floating shelves from The Home Depot! They are perfect for keeping the aesthetics of my room on point while also providing some handy-dandy storage space for extra books, office supplies, candles, essential oil diffusers, and of course, my line art drawing of Paisley.
These floating shelves were so affordable and easy to install! With four nails total, I was able to completely transform this space and make it feel more like “Jade” before going back to school. How will you transform your workspace before heading back? I’d love to know!
Thank you for reading! Happy styling 🙂
